The shrine of Yamunotri is situated at an altitude of about 3185 mts is a point of paramount religious importance for Hindus and an essential pilgrimage. Yamunotri is famous for its thermal springs and glaciers are a part of famous Char Dham Yatra.
Gangotri is the main religious places among the four Char Dham pilgrimage circuit, situated in Uttarkashi, and is closely related to Goddess Ganga, the river that we know as the Ganges.
Day - 1 – Arrive At Dehradun
Arrive at Dehradoon. You will be received by our reprehensive and transferred to the hotel. Take rest at the hotel, the Dodham journey will start from the next day.
Day – 2 – Gangotri – Yamunotri
This is the official starting of your Dodham yatra. Passengers will be transferred to state government helipad on Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun which is the starting and ending point of this yatra. Vehicles are arranged for pick up. Board your helicopter at 7.00 am for the 45-minute flight to Kharsali, upon arrival at Kharsali (The helipad for Yamunotri) passengers are welcomed by our reprehensive, ground staff, who will unload their baggage and carry it to your hotel. After a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, you start on the 6 km trek to the temple on a palki. VIPs Darshan at the Yamunotri Temple. Return to your helipad at Kharsali. Now, board on the helicopter for Harsil.
On arrival at the Harsil Helipad. You will be provided with a delicious lunch and take some rest in the hotel. Gangotri temple is approx 22 KMS from Harsil helipad and drives by car is approx. 50 mins. It will take up to 3 hrs for complete darshan of the temple. After the darshan, the guest will be back at the Harsil helipad for Dehradun. After reaching the Dehradun our staff will arrange the vehicle which will depart you to Airport/railway station/bus station.
