Located between the two mountains Nar and Narayan, Badrinath Dham is a majestic sight as well as the most important of all the Char Dhams. Lakhs of tourist come every year to this sacred Badrinath town to seek blessings and to get a glimpse of the famous temple of Shri Badrinathji.
Kedarnath is one of the most sacred pilgrimages of Lord Shiva situated in Rudraprayag district of Garhwal region in Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is one of the Char Dham in Uttarakhand and the most important Dham among Panch Kedar. Kedarnath is situated at an altitude of 3586 mts, in the lap of the majestic mountain peaks and near the head of river Mandakini, Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Tungnath is the world’s highest temple of Lord Shiva. The temple situated at the high altitude areas of Himalayas. It is 3 km away from the road. The trek is very beautiful.
Deoriyatal Lake is situated 3 km away from the Sari village in Chopta-Ukhimath road. The lake is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains. The lakeside is best for camping at night.
Tour Package Itinerary
Day – 1 – Haridwar to Guptkashi (8/9 hours / 210 km)
Arrive at the Haridwar our representative will meet you thereafter the meet and greet we will proceed to the Guptkashi. This journey is quite long and full of scenic views. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Ganga and Alaknanda River till Rudraprayag. After reaching the Guptkasi town we will check-in the hotel. If times allows we will visit Kashi Vishwanath temple. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day – 2 – Guptkashi to Kedarnath - Guptkashi (30 km drive and 19 km trek, one side)
In the morning, after breakfast, we will proceed to the Kedarnath. We will drive to Sonprayag, then you have to take local jeep for Gaurikund after then we will trek to the Kedarnath. Guest can take pony/palki to reach Kedarnath. After reaching the Kedarnath, pooja will be performed here. Later drive back to the Guptkashi. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Guptkashi.
Day – 3 – Guptkashi to Chopta to Tungnath (48 km drive, 8 km trek)
In the morning we will proceed to the mini Switzerland of India Chopta. It will take to 2 hours to reach chopta. Check-in at the hotel and after refreshment, start trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest temple of Lord Shiva. It is also known to be a Dwitya Kedar (Second Kedar), one among the Panch Kedar. Overnight stay will be at Chopta.
Day – 4 – Chopta to Sari Village to Deoriyatal (1 hour / 22 km)
After breakfast in the morning, we will be proceeding to the sari village. After reaching the sari village, the trek will start from here to Deoriya Tal. It will roughly take 2 hrs to trek up to Deoriyatal. The evening is leisure at the Deoriyatal. Overnight stay will be at Deoriyatal.
Day – 5 – Deoriyatal to Badrinath (160 km)
Early in the morning trek down to the Sari village and then proceed to the Badrinath. Check-in the hotel at the Badrinath. Take a dip into the Taptkund and have the darshan of Lord Badri. Take part in evening aarti. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors. There are many other places to see around the Badrinath temple. Overnight stay will be in Badrinath.
Day – 6 – Badrinath – Rudraprayag (157 km / 6/7 hours)
Wake up early in the morning and start your journey to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. You can visit some famous places in Joshimath. Later proceed to the Rudraprayag. After reaching the Rudraprayag check-in the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the Rudraprayag.
Day – 7 – Rudraprayag to Haridwar (165 km / 5/6 hours)
In the morning, we will drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh is the yoga capital of India. Rishikesh ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. After the visit, we will proceed to the Haridwar. Your tour will end here.
